I've just noticed that the drill bit even has flutes! Great attention to detail as ever and now there's finally something look look forward to next year 😀 - Andy

Thanks Andy...and yes...that's a real 0.2 mm drill bit 😉

So glad you are still finding it fun to follow.

Oh wow, what fantastic details , the dirty look of the yellow aerosol can , the rag with the plugs and all the rest is wonderful really wonderful.

Great work

Chris

That's a big complliment Chris...and very much appreciated as always.

For me personally...it's the 'grime' that helps to tell the story...and it doesn't have to be much to allude to reality.

Wow Ron, you just keep elevating this project!  The scene is really coming along - the tools and things found around a shop look great!  Really looking forward to seeing this pulled together!

Cheers

Nick

Thanks Nick...it's all about creating a believable atmosphere and telling a story...if I can convince the viewer to accept that...then I have done my job.

Well, you certainly succeeded in doing that, Ron. 👍 I’m totally convinced.

Hi Ron

Superb as usual, really coming together nicely :)

Looking forward to seeing how you do the figures as I've always struggled with making them look anything like real, I know this is the vehicle section but I'm sure no one would mind a bit of a delve into figure painting  :)

Have a great Christmas, look forward to 2022 updates :)

Thanks Ian :)

Where figures are concerned I have no issues having been a figure painter for 40 years (my other passion)...my only worry is the abysmal quality of the old Tamiya mechanic...he needs a huge amount of work to re-sculpt the missing detail from bad moulding!

Niki is a 1/12 MFH figure...so shouldn't be a problem in that regard.

My very best to you and yours for the holidays mate 🙂

Great stuff

Looking forward to it Ron 😁

Off work now for a week and a half ish, hoping to get some bench time in and finish Sennas Lotus 97t that I haven't touched for about 2 months

Fancy a crack at one of my 12th scale after that 😁

Plenty of your tips to try and put into practice now

Cheers

The new owner was finally able to collect the finished 312T at the weekend :)

We took some final pics before packing it away for the journey to its new home.....

And in her new home.....

So ends a long but very satisfying journey...I hope Mr C would have approved of the end result...and I dedicate the final piece to his memory.

Thank you to all those who joined me for the ride.
