I have just come across this. I really like the paint job. Are the camo shapes freehand? If so the control is superb. I was thinking of giving Hataka lacquers a go. What airbrush do you use?

Thanks.

Not freehand, I use the blu-tak sausage method for masking, I find freehand camo in 1/72 for the most part leaves an over-scale feathered edge. I use a Bartsharp BD-180 airbrush with a 0.2mm nozzle. HTH

Thanks Seamus. It is the over-scale feathered edge I looking for solutions for. I work in 1/72 and want to do some Italian and French camo which seems quite challenging. I understand that lacquers may well be better than the Vallejo acrylics I use at the moment, but also that the combination of paint brand and airbrush model can be significant.

I still think your work looks great.

Thanks again, I can only speak for myself but the Orange Line has been a revelation for my modelling since I switched to them a year or so ago, definitely recommended 👍
