It was an Accurate Miniatures kit.  I did a bit of modification to get the Observer's station fitted and found some bubble windows for the fuselage.

Royal Navy, if they were naming aircraft and were not adding the suffix ‘Sea’, seemed to have named fighters after Seabirds; Skua, Fulmar, Martlet, Gannet, etc and bombers after fish, Swordfish, Albacore, Barracuda, Tarpon.  They did away with the naming convention for US manufactured aircraft in about 1944.  

 

Just think the Corsair could have been the Blue Footed Booby...

Very nice,..... I do like this scheme on the Avenger but have never seen it applied to a Mk.III/ TBM-3 before.
