Revell/Zvezda 747-8 engines

Is it me, or are the Zvezda 747-8 engines and pylons more accurate than the Revell ones? There just seem to be a lot of little differences that make them look more accurate but that just might be me not looking at the right reference pictures.

And the moulding quality is like 500% better : check Revell's fan blades moulding, spinner, and edges on other parts -> appalling. To me, Zvezda leads in terms of 1:144 moulding quality.

I'm building the 747 8 right now and it's simply the best airliner kit I have put together so far. Their 777 is excellent as well! Everything just fits so well!

While I agree with the comments about the design and production differences between Zvezda and Revell, @Silver Seraph , @GRIM REAPER would you say that the engines are more accurate in shape and size. I say that the fan blades most definitely are.

I can't vouch for accuracy because I don't really delve into what is the most accurate. My bench time is just waaay too short for it.😆 But, from a buildable standpoint, Zvezda's engines are a lot easier to build. Revell's may be more accurate, but harder to put together. And trying to clean flash from almost every single fan blade is just asking for trouble. I have snapped many a fan blade trying to get them looking presentable.

Yes. A luxury indeed, but quickly drying up due to taking care of my mother. Family comes first every time.

That is true. SWMBO frequently reminds me of that one.
