Tim Moff Posted December 18, 2020 Author Share Posted December 18, 2020 (edited) Think I’m done with the F3 - not going to put the tanks on as they are from the Airfix kit and don’t really sit/connect correctly .... will get some pics done thanks for the help and advice along the way .... was a sad day when we retired the Tonka ! Thanks The tanks are from the Airfix F3 and have a big groove in the top, that is slightly wider than the pylon - the mating surface are is not big either, so likely to just fall off, even with CA glue... Colin W Posted December 20, 2020 Share Posted December 20, 2020 Well done for finishing, Looks great with the clean swept wings. You just need a nice acrylic stand now to finish it off. For the tanks you can fill the slot with Milliput and maybe use a brass rod/pin to connect to the pylons. I usually use a brass pin anyway and these slots just help to center the drill!
