Gooney Fan
I am hoping for advice in replicating the Blue and yellow paints used on Lufthansa Super Connies of the 50's. Can anybody point me to any alternative for Revell's Blue No. 52 and Yellow No. 310 in the Humbrol or Xtracolor range? Thanks Gooney Fan
Skodadriver
The Ultimate Model Paint Conversion Chart is probably the best resource. You need to have Adobe Flash enabled on your computer otherwise it won't work. Dave G

Gooney Fan
Hello again suggestd I'm having difficulty in displaying the Paint conversion chart correctly on my laptop. I'm endeavouring to model a VW bus in Lufthansa colours but I do not have access to the Revell paints suggested on the instructions Can anyone suggest a Humbrol or Xtracolor alternative? Thanks again Gooney Fan
Scott Garard
Gooney, From various sources, I have surmised that: Revell 52 (Blue) equates to Humbrol 14 Revell 310 (Yellow) equates to Humbrol 197 - which is discontinued, and there is no Xtracolor substitute - so you'll have to mix it using yellow and orange. Cheers!
modelldoc
I agree, Revell 52 equates to Humbrol 14. See the manual: https://downloads.revell.de/Manuals-Modelkits/07436.pdf It looks like Humbrol 14. modelldoc
