Good Evening all, 

 

My Names Rob and I'm just getting back into model building after a number of years has passed since my last one. 

 

I'm a bit of a Naval history nerd so I picked up a 1/350 HMS Zulu by Trumpeter to easy myself back into the model building world. 

 

I'm picking this up at the wrong end of the lock down as I should be hopefully returning to work next month which will help with funds to require all of my lost tools and paints! 

 

Here for advice and to hopefully share my building experiences which I hope are a positive one [With a good dash of frustration thrown in]

Gidday Beck, welcome aboard. I'm into ships myself, but at a different scale (Airfix 1/600) and done rather basic. I'm interested in seeing how your HMS Zulu turns out. Regards, Jeff.

Hello Rob... from the windy city of Chicago USA. I myself just bought my first ship kit in 30 years recently, 1/700 ORP Kujawiak a Hunt class DE from WW2. Family served aboard her during the war. Though I’ve been building since 1979 with a 10 year break from 05-14.
