Thank you both. Your comments have made me realised I have neglected to update this thread for a while so here we are. Sorry about the lighting!

 

 

It looks more like a helicopter now and the end is in sight. There are still some smaller details to paint and pieces to add. I had planned to add the weapons too but invariably lose interest by the time I get there!

 

 

 

It won't be today though as my forearms are burning from playing with my Christmas presents 😀😀😀

That’s why I start from the landing gear and weapons assembly.
