Very, very nice! Love the weathering, which on most other subjects would be overdone, but not on the Danish Starfighters..

Kind regards,

Gerben

Perhaps some t-cut will polish out all the rough bits and make it look shiny again.....only joking, it looks superb, I do miss hearing F-104s doing their pre-take off howl.

I’ll add my “Well Done!”  Just fantastically realistic.

I have an F-100 that I want to try this look on. Care to share your technique?

Absolutely perfect finish. I love how you archieved the used look, so typical for danish F-104 G.

You get the highest rank........you make my day

Its really easy:
1.  pale shades of basic colours, mostly done by adding greys to basic paint

2. contrast,  darker shades of basic colors in place where they should be

work progress2

work progress 1

3. oli paints diluted between wash and filter (mostly bronze and greens) , dont wipe to much when its dry

4. basic color on the top, very thin layer to unify colors

work progress 3 after green oil filter

5. step 2 whit diluted paint to pop up a places you want

 thats all

I've used  few green paints in step 2, and tried obtain green shades from photo, basic color was FS34102 medium green
Hope it was halpfull

Thank You for really nice comments.
Cheers:cheers:
