I think it was already ok'ed by all four of us in the end of June, but never put forward. It'd be done like the Specialists GB, having four subcategories for the four original themes: Republic (Corsairfoxfouruncle), North American (trickyrich), Douglas (Rabbit Leader) and Boeing (moi) as co-hosts. There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, that we have to recruit Pat a.k.a @JOCKNEYas the grand master of all things to host the co-hosts

This is going to be a tricky year, there are some great GB's to choose from on the list. I thought this years list had some great ones and has certainly kept me very busy but next year I think we will need to ask for a much longer lockdown if I am going to keep up with all the GB's!

To save looking through lots of messages, what I am proposing for the Anything but Injection build is

 

Any model you like, so wiffy, sci-fi, fantasy even more conventional subjects, no holds barred in any medium you like but the injection molded element can't be more than 25%. I'm putting that in because in the my case, I'd replace the rainwater goods with AM injection molded and to allow for raiding the scrap box for similar fiddly details for others.

 

So far there's been suggestions for vac-form, resin, 3D, card, brass, pewter/ white metal, wood. But no offers for something in chocolate (yet). I hope that it would be a chance to admire some amazing modelling skills in often overlooked material along with the chance for people to take the plunge and try a new material encouraged by all the support and help that is the hallmark of a GB

 

Then standard GB rules apply and fun to be had along with new experiences; after all why should New Media always mean Twitter etc?

I was thinking that the Fancy French and BeNeLux GB's should join up as a Pact for a better chance........but then The Blitzkrieg GB would want to join up......and we all will know how that would end up!
