Hi Mippie

In that case I applied the pigments on desired areas with a brush like a wash (pigment mixed with VMS Universal Weathering Carrier), when it dries, remove the excess with a cotton swab, and when everything is ok, I've applied a Pigment Fixer of Ammo

Best regards

Thanks! Any particular pigment you used, or did you just experiment with various?

Hi Davilovick,

Impressive piece of armor, to be your first serious attempt, Bravo! How will your 20th? ... lol
It really looks like an authentic one, I think it's the best that can be said for a model (deservedly in your case) ...
I also have a Merkava MKI (The venerable Tamiya), bought and made the year it was released, and which is the only kit that I have left from my other days as a modeler, which when I returned I tried to improve with the new techniques (and a AB) ...
It is published in the forum, and I leave you a link in case you are interested.
Cheer and TC
Francis.👍
