gazza l
Hi everyone, Here's my latest creation, Eduard's boxing of the Westland Lysander, in the colours of a 26 squadron machine based at Gatwick 1940/41. A very nice kit made even better with the usual Eduard photo-etch, resin and paint mask goodies thrown in. The only problems I encountered were the side windows, which didn't seem to follow the contours of the fuselage, so I had to cut them into sections to make them conform. Painted with MRP and Alclad paints, weathered with oils and sealed with Alclad matt cote. Thanks for looking, gazza l

SAT69
Wonderful build. The paint work is superb! I didn't realize the Lysander could carry weapons as shown on your model. Learned something!

Dunny
Lovely finish - it's a challenging kit but you have made a beautiful example! Cheers, Roger
Jackster
Fantastic job! Excellent paintwork, how did you mask for the wavy line on the fuselage? I am building this at the moment but it is seriously testing the limits of my current ability. I am finding the glass work problematic too, cutting sounds like a great solution. Cheers Kev
Ron Pearcy
Cracking job, I've got this kit but I'm wary to start it because I think it will be beyond my abilities. Again, outstanding.

Cheers Kev Thanks Kev. The wavy edges were done using thin blutack sausages. For the canopy side windows I used a razor saw and partially cut threw in three places from the inside. I could then bend them (gently) to suit the fuselage halves. Cheers, gazza l
Pete in a shed
That's a beauty, I really like it in the early scheme. Wish I could get my canopies as clear as you have with this one. Pete
Jfgred1
Beautiful model. Like the fiddly detail on the bombs and bombs racks.
