Just compiling a list of aircraft with snake based artwork as a bit of a theme and wondering if anyone can add to the list. Thus far I have;

Ju 87 Stuka

Fw 190A

A-10

AH-1 Cobra

Pfalz DIII

Junkers 52

Messerschmitt 209

F4U4 Corsair

Are you interested in snake themed nose arts or only in snakes used as part of unit markings ? If you're into nose arts then a very well known one is P-40K "Hydes Harlot" of 78th FS/ 18th FG.

More recently snakes have appeated as nose arts on a number of USAF aircraft like the B-1 and KC-135, All these are quite small though

If you only want snakes as unit markings and want them well visible, then VA-86 A-7s carried a rattlesnake artwork on their tails until the advent of the low-vis era.

Still do on the Hornets.

I built one a couple years ago in similar markings.

Possibly this German Hannover Cl.III (option 2 - not sure if you count this as being a proper snake, 'though).

Now, this is one aircraft that is chock full o' 'Snake'

You could always put this loadout on a VA-86 bird - then you have snakes on a 'plane marked with a snake...

C'mon, surely that's a sign...
