I've started work on this kit few weeks ago, but as work was hampered with some real life commitments I've reached only so far for now.

Plan is to have tracks installed during this week, and then everything should move forward in a bit faster pace...

Most of the subassemblies are done - only etched sideskirts and few more details are left (mostly etched handles), but these sideskirts are most delicate parts to add on this kit, so I'm a bit nervous about that step....

Towing cables were replaced with Karaya copper ones, but I have used plastic hooks from original parts.

Woaaaah! :D So new deadline is Jan 17th?

I've just planned to force myself today to finish the cammo in order to be able to finish all other processes (gloss varnish, decals, another protective gloss layer, wash, final varnish, details....)

One extra week definitely gives me a bit of breather!

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,

S.

Well, let's not waste time despite of having an extension! :)

As I use Gunze acryilics, I've painted the rest of the camo in one pass - both Brown (less red in vivo than on these photos!) and Olive Green have been applied.

I'll leave it to rest for few days and then I'll give it a coat of gloss varnish as a surface for decals.

Cheers and Happy New Year mates - all the best!

Finally finished, not very pleased with the look/colour of spare tracks and few other details, but overall I think it's not so bad...
