stevej60
Evening folk's,well I haven't set eyes on this kit for well over forty years and to be honest as kit's go it's not bad at all,I picked it up on E-bay for £6 inc postage so can't complain and those extras were in the box including a tube of glue which is nearly two quid down the model shop. I can't believe I ever completed this kit as a youngster the axle arrangement is very fiddly but with care lined up nicely. the turret was a breeze. Last job of the session was to fit the hull sides and just fitted the upper hull popped a book on it for weight so that all of it dries level as there was a slight twist noted.

klr
Some of the surface detail isn't bad for a 1963 kit. Actually, you were probably better off buying that boxing from the mid-1990s than the current "Vintage Classics" release. Who knows what state the mold is in by now? What is it with Airfix box art showing Panthers in a desert setting? Not just this, but they are also in the background of the the original (and "Vintage Classics") Storch box-art. And yes, I did build this kit, back in the mists of time.

You could get another one (they're cheap and readily available), and pretend this unfortunate incident never happened ... 😛
