Pappy
G'day people, I am currently working on the 1/48 Revell GR.4 liky here: I have a colour question regarding the wings and flaps My questions: 1. The Tornado has a painted pattern around the wing root portion that slides in and out of the wing glove and wing seal area. I want to so an all grey machine, what is the correct colour for this area? 2. Did this colour change when the wraparound scheme transitioned to grey? 3. What is the colour of the inner flaps? Is this just an extension of the exterior colour? 4. Do the same colour 'rules' apply to the area around the stab pivots? I have been looking on-line and I am a bit confused as the wing pivot area paint can appear much darker in some pictures and yet lighter in others thanks in advance, Pappy
Bell209
I used this walkaround a lot when I built mine, Pappy. Very useful and should answer most of your queries.
Hook
I think that area is a teflon-like material rather than paint. This would account for the colour differences. Cheers, Andre
