corsaircorp
Well Gents.... I'm helpless... Just like my cat !! I already told you that I've the stupidiest cat of this galaxy... See !! They got boxes with comfortable blankets in it because when the night start to cool down they no longer get in their baskets... But Plucky.... Now if you look good, my tiny black Panther is clever.... Shaky week for sure, I worked all the evening, By luck !! It rained only once in the week.... It lasted 5 days.... A great new was the coming of a brand new AC/DC album, followed by a very sad new... The passing of Eddie Van Halen !! This is De Rigueur !! So, @Dunny What do you think now ?? Did we had the Boomerang or the Wirraway ??? Well, Lunacy is still raging over CC's castle... Let's get on with these 3 builds !! Why so easy ??? I got this kit from 1969... sprue shot Aaaaand the destructions... I told to myself that I'll find a better kit of the P-39 and improve this one in building the two of them... But... There was a but at the time... I found this at a bargain price... Very good and complete kit(s) Roger winded me up with the Sharkmouth !! Here it is !! Fingers crossed for the decals... If not I'll find some new ones... Here's the beast in colour.. On with Du Pont british colors squabblings I hesitate for the other one... So this one ?? Or let's play with Julie ?? poll is open !! The third one will be the one of Mikhaïl Rents The one below... Let's start with some engraving... Now, let's show this... Only the scotts !! Do not excpect this one to be finished tomorrow... 'caus' I must finish a Corsair this year !! Sincerely. CC 12

72modeler
Can't believe I beat Dennis @Corsairfoxfouruncle to the bar! I know he is queer for Airacobras, so I am surprised he's not already here with pencil and paper in hand. With some aftermarket bits and a little scratch building, the old Monogram kit can be made into a very nice model, but the Eduard kit I hear is outstanding, and the Hasegawa kit is pretty good, as well. Me, my favorite is Skylark XII from No. 601 Squadron... keep it to yourselves, because if any of my mates here find out about it, I will be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail! How about 'Pantie Bandit,' a P-39L, CC? Mike https://www.jets-are-for-kids.ch/egalerie/bell_p39/p39l.html 2

corsaircorp
Hello Dears, Well, I have some documents about it but finding it will take some times... So, I'll ask my Cousin @Corsairfoxfouruncle and my friend @Aardvark about it... I read that the soviet Airacobras received some reinforcement plates at the base of the tail unit and if I remember well on the main fuselage too. Did one of you BMers has some pics of it ?? And last question (surely not the last one indeed) The Airacobra Mk I is an equicalence of the P-39D is'nt it ?? Well, time for me to get a bit of bench time... And a Quadruple Trappe... Sincerely. But, Dear @corsaircorp P-39 absolutely not my thematic. I can see it on Russian forums, but to be honest, I have doubts about such improvements based on what I read, because the reinforcement of the tail is an increase in weight, but the P-39 already had a rear centering in a certain configuration, why increase it further? B.R. Serge P.S. Probably answer have here: http://scalemodels.ru/modules/forum/viewtopic_t_12_start_0.html but in order to find out my need to read 39 pages of the topic!
