825
Next to drive onto the bench is this lovely piece of elegant Italian engineering, both in real life and model form. One sand grey coloured sprue. And the detail is lovely. This isn't one of Italeri's reboxing of an Esci original but a new tool from 2007. Instructions and transfers for 4 versions, 3 Italian and a Wermacht example. Off and going soon.

825
First some paint onto the sprue, and now we have a sand sprue. The kit will need a full paint once assembled but there looks like there may be some inaccessible bits so getting a coat on now is helpful. The body is quite a complex shape with lots of angles but it builds quite quickly, although there's a fair number of parts. Italeri have engineered the model well, it all ges together straightforwardly, there's very little in the way of gaps, and last but not least the kit includes a couple of spacers for the main body to ensure that the sides remain at the correct angle. And the front end added as well, starting to look elegant and workmanlike. Italeri suggest you start adding the wheels at this point but I'll wait and add them pretty much at the end to avoid paint slip ups.
825
The underside and chassis added. The remainder of the bodywork done and some of the detail. The pretty well tiny turret started. And this is what it looks looks like with the turret added. Some tidying up of joints done as well.
825
Wheels on; Italeri are so helpful with separate hubs that make painting a breeze. Left to dry and now turned over to sit on the wheels. There's a little bit of touching up to do and some bits added. And now the transfers on. They are a little bright but I'll let them settle, do the touching up and add the remaining parts. Some matt varnish will be needed as well.
