Whofan
My word, you look like you were born to be a grandad! And Tilly looks like she means business, too. I’m always amazed by how gentle and protective dogs are when there’s a baby around, my daughter’s cocker was the same. 2
CedB
Thanks Ben, Giorgio, Roger, Bill, Dennis, Bill, Shalako, CC, PC (too young? Yeah, right!), Mark, Terry and John for the kind comments. Proud, yes, but I'll be prouder when he's modelling! Speaking of which, closing up the bottom (fnaar!). Nose doors fine: Rear doors not so much: I'll fill the gaps, sand it all smooth then re-scribe. There's a problem with the wing wheels (whatever they're called). This: Looks like this: I think they've reversed the part numbers. Can you see the slope on the wing and on the 'leg'? Wrong! There's also a mold problem here: It's not flat. There's also an ejector pin mark on the end of the wings: With those cleaned off we get this: Much better.

bbudde
Nice work on that one with the notorious stuff Seem to go together very painless both. Btw The picture of you with little Otto (your hand seems to be more than 1:72 in scale to his ) has reminded me of a covered song (Bettina Wegner) by the great Joan Baez in 1978 on her great live album on the european tour then. Haven't heard it for quite a while, but worth every track on every inch of the vinyl. English lyrics hopefully fit the german meaning: Such small hands with tiny fingers there. One may never hit them and then break them Such small feet with such tiny toes. One may never step on them otherwise they can’t walk Such small ears poignant, and unprohibited. One may never scream to make it numb. Such beautiful mouths speaking everything. One may never gag (ban) it or else nothing comes out. Such clear eyes that still see everything. One may never bind them to prevent understanding Such tiny souls open and totally free. One must never torment and thereby break them Such a tiny backbone almost not yet noticeable. One must never bend for otherwise it collapses. Forthright people would be a nice goal. People with no backbone we already have too many. Cheers Benedikt and stay safe all now Edited October 28, 2020 by bbudde Not Beaz 4
philp
Let's try this one, ah, found them. They are all in watching Ced building jets would you believe. I was getting a bit worried that I hadn't had a Ced update hit my email for a while. Must have missed the "here is my next build" link at some point. A new grandson to add to the mix too. And his birthday almost got it right. I just hit my 6th decade on Saturday, my brother hit 56 on the 7th, my Dad made it to 86 on the 14th and my daughter was 23 as of the 20th. 9 months before October must be cold. I love the Scooter and have several in the stash already (with that new Dogfight with the MiG calling my name also). Have picked up some nose correction sets from Freightdog (and maybe another). I also have a Shar partially built and hiding in it's box. Think it is a Hasagawa version or possibly Fujimi. Got stuck on those intake doors as the old kit only offers full bore and mine will be grounded. Need to find one of the aftermarket sets I know are out there and try and finish it off. Have not heard the greatest about this Sea Harrier kit but you seem to be having no issues with it either. Glad the mojo is back. I just need to find some time for what I am working on but with the recent temp drop here in Utah I am not game to go out and try and spray. Supposed to warm up a tad by the weekend so we shall see. Ok, I am back on follow mode and ready to see the end. 1

I remembered, but I only use that when the doors fall in On this one the doors didn't fit so careful sanding (almost) got them to fit well enough for TET to settle jam them in. Ian Thanks Ian The advice? Whatever works for you Sir (fnaar!) So, sanding has been done: Smooth(ish) now: Made me think just how deep the panel lines should be? Not very I guess. Canopies are on too: Nice. The Scooter wasn't too bad either: …once I'd trimmed the back of the cockpit a bit. Now for the dangling bits. There's a lump of plastic in one hole: That got drilled out and the pylon fitted, then I noticed the ejector! Is that supposed to be there? I think not. Once the glue is dry I'll cut it off. Other bottom stuff (titter) glued on: Those lumpy bits in the middle were a bit of a pain and may need some filler. Later.

perdu
The new, brother assisted Reacher. I shall need to know whether to... The black line round the 'gunpod' Ced is a moulded sealing strip all around so there is no leakage of thrust into the realms of drag I supposes. I suppose drag costs more if you need to convert the thrust into GO, unlike in jollychopters where you can covert as much power as you like into lift, 'cos it's hardly likely to affect the speed of the beast. Anyway, sealed all around. (Quite disappointed not to see this in hall 1 last time I visited, wonder if I just missed it 'cos I was off to see the Bilvedere) 1

Nice pliers, is your waste bin handy? The bane of my life is 'other people's left over' pliers. I still have few pairs to dispose of, this reminds me.
