Victor K2 1/72 Airfix

This is a very nice collection and I agree, a green / gray camouflage version will round out the Victor family perfectly.  Beautiful results with all three!!!!!! :clap2:

Hi @Adam, do you have any build pics for XL231?

This is me around Aug '91, in 3 hanger at VASF Marham, where I first saw XL231.

And in about Sep '95 when I paid her a visit while drag racing at Elvington.

She was the first we saw with artwork in 1990 when the first Gulf War broke out, and has held me ever since!

Yes, I just found it and slowly going through. Has general melchett made some then?

And what filler do you use please?

I've not got into any filling yet, but know its coming....

I have to say I really don't remember the flash blinds in the canopy!

Spectacular Victors! Helping me overcome residual guilt as I just "retired" a rather sloppy B2 I made some years ago [removes inflight refuelling probe from lockdown beard]

Love your 'vic' of Victors Adam!  They look really cool! Thanks for sharing.

The victor is one of my favourite planes of all time I think. Even today it looks futuristic and must be 70 years old !

As youths we would take our cars over to the old Radlett Aerodrome where Handley Page was based, careering up and down the runways, usually at night, it was how I learned to drive. Lol

Smashing job as usual Adam and I look forward to your shiny camouflage version. I presume you have a pre order in at Airfix for a couple of Valiants .

Keith

two each of the vulcan and Valiant currently, a long way from the six or so I would have bought if the vulcan released in November. I'll probably increase the Valiants to keep some stashed
