Thank you all for your support. I have thoroughly enjoyed this, my first, group build and the building of this tank and good luck to the rest that are still building theirs. Looking forward to see what will be adorning this thread in the near future. Now I need to start getting through my ever expanding stash and treat myself to a better camera. Cheers all.👍

Kit: Zvezda 1/72 Snap Kit

Paints: Humbrol, Revell and Railmatch acrylic paints all applied by brush

Extras: Spares box PE grill, fuse wire, lead wire, stretched sprue, small Wilco’s picture frame, corrugated card, Gaugemaster Grass Mat, Vallejo European Mud and various Army Painter tufts.

Assembled By DEMAG From February-September 1944.

150 Units Built

 

AFTERNOON ALL........:yes:

 

Decided to post as complete (from a what was in the box).....as my field tool shop may not, even with the extension; be here in time to load her up. So, here she is......

 

KIT - Takom 2101 (Full Interior)

Upgrades - Voyager PE35979 & ATAK (Zimmerit) 35070

 

There may be a chance before the date that tools and equipment make it on. I'll add those if I can......never know a crew member may turn up.

Ambush in the Ardennes

 

Late 1944, Eastern Belgium.

 

The crew of 2/SS. Pz Regt 1 Panther #214 on a reconnaissance probe are taking cover beside a ruined wayside inn on a small road after seeing patrolling Allied aircraft nearby, when the radio operator hears the distant rumble of tanks. He keeps a careful watch through the ruins to try and spot the oncoming vehicles - unsure if they will be friendly...

Dragon 1/35 Panther Ausf D, Kursk 1943.

 

 

Gum Ka etch fret came with the kit along with the Accurate Armour tow cables.

Fruil tracks.

Alpine commander figure, the other little chap is a left over from a MB set.

Aber gun barrel.

75mm shell cases I think might have been Tamiya. 

Damaged front fender made from copper sheet.

Base is a variety of bits and pieces lying around the workshop and garden.
