  • Homebee changed the title to 1/48 - Raytheon Hawker Beechcraft T-400 (JASDF) resin kit by Wing Factory - box art+parts+decals - release in 2021

I have one of these, and although the shape is good, the quality is poor.

The overall kit is very basic, and although the whole front fuselage is cast in clear resin, it is totally opaque, so you will need to crash mould a new windscreen as a minimum.

Detail is lacking and panel lines are poor.

The one really clever feature is that the cabin windows are cast in clear resin as part of the fuselage castings. I don't know how they did this, but at least you can see through them, to look at nothing, unless you scratchbuild the interior!

The decals look good and you can make any JASDF T-400.

However, it is the only game in town, but you have to be needy to want one, now you have been warned

In 1:48 - yes.

In 1:72, there is the Click to Detail T-400 kit available from Shapeways:

https://www.shapeways.com/marketplace/miniatures/aircraft?type=product&q=t400

But currently at >US $220 without decals, so you still have to be needy to want one.

Indeed; although some incarnations of particular aircraft may be more of a challenge:
