Great work so far Laurie,  shame that she had a hrad landing.  We're you doing your Dakota sound impression at the time 😉

Chris

Thanks Chris. You could not replicate the sound impression 🙄

Happens to me with some frequency!  Just do your normal checks for cracks elsewhere and repair.  It's a nice kit and will leave you satisfied when you finish it.

Trouble is Alex the old hands, 82 in 3 weeks, are not as steady as they were. However no matter all back in one piece again. Plus Dupuytren's contracture on my little finger is making great strides umm that is for legs not little fingers.

Just been making up one of the missing air intakes. Coming on. quite like scratch building.

Taking shape Laurie and all looking good despite the result from the test flight.

Thanks Steve much appreciated.

An executive decision has been made to abandon all test flights until further notice. 😊

Great recovery, Laurie, and so glad the primer showed the integrity of your assembly work!  You've done a great job on this little beauty, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it will ultimately appear.  Those stairs look terrific, by the way!

Lots of progress and a couple setbacks...

Sorry to hear of the injury, and the loss of the Rapide.

Best of luck finding a kit that suffices.

Love the power carts and stairs, Laurie

It's the little details that make a dio!

And the Dakota is coming along nicely!

Cheers from NorCal!

End of July,

my garage burned down,

a huge trauma, and a royal pain in the bottom.

So, once I can get contractors to build me a new garage.

I will be refilling my lost stash of kits and aftermarket bits..

But other than that,

I'm back at the bench after several months of housing Covid-sheltering, relatives.

Making (very) slow, but satisfying progress on my F-16XL...

I hope your hand is feeling better,

and please give my regards to Pauline.
