chris148 Posted September 26, 2020 Share Posted September 26, 2020 Hi everyone, Latest build off the bench,the 1/48 P51 D Mustang from airfix.The first airfix kit i have done for a while and i was pleasantly surprised how well it went together,the details,panel lines etc are good. stever219 Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 I’m currently working on one of these, having already built an Airfix RAF P-51K, and apart from having lost the tailwheel leg to the carpet monster I’m enjoying it lots. One thing I’m not too keen on is Airfix’s suggestion to use Humbrol 30 for the upper surface camouflage, I think I’ll go for either 116 or 117 which are both supposed to be US colours.
