zebra
Here's my HKP-4 (Swedish Boeing Vertol 107/CH-46), using the 1/72 Fujimi kit and Moose Republic decals. And a lot of masking tape! Build thread is here in the Helicopters and STOVL GB. Not particularly happy with the photos so might try and take some better ones tomorrow. thanks for looking Julian

bbudde
Wow, the swedish splinter scheme is always a stunner to look at On everthing it sticks on. Nice job. Cheers
Orion
Hello Zebra, Already for the masking alone you should receive a golden medal. But, overall the model is finished to a superb standard. Taking in mind, that the Fujimi kit is very basic. Regards, Orion - The Netherlands.

binbrook87
Wow superb! Having done a splinter Viggen i know how much effort you have put into that colour scheme. Great end result though 👍👍
Spitfire31
Fabulous HKP 4 (without a hyphen…) with a perfect finish! It was a real workhorse in the Swedish Air Force and Navy. Regrettably, its career was cut short by incompetent (aren't most?) politicians. Really impressive model! Kind regards, Joachim 1
zebra
Thanks everyone! The masking took so long it sometimes feels like I'm still doing it. But when I saw the decals were available I just had to - how could I not want to build a helicopter with splinter camouflage on the rotor blades? Bell209
I didn't realise the Swedes painted the rotor blades in a camouflage pattern, too - that must've been very tedious to reproduce. Kudos to you on a great job!
scottyphbeta
Fantastic job! Did you use a pre-cut mask or did you make your own? I'm not sure I'm brave enough or have enough patience to attempt a paint scheme like this.
Paramedic
It is looking fantastic, great job! I really do love the look of those and had the honour of riding in one quite a bit during my service (and the Hkp 6, 10 an 11 as well) Here you have some info on them, in Swedish regrettably. But there is some cool pics. http://navyskipper.blogspot.com/2012/01/var-har-forsvarsmaktens-hkp-4-tagit.html
