Slater
Not familiar with the details of this program, but is any of this UK-produced or is it all sourced from Boeing in the US? https://www.dsca.mil/sites/default/files/mas/uk_20-76.pdf
stever219
A quick read through suggests that all of this will come from Boeing (there's a reference to "no offsets") so it looks like Boeing will be supported in part by the British taxpayer again (runs away bravely and dives even bravelier for very deep cover). Dave Fleming
Just an extension of the current system, where the UK C17s are incorporated into the US maintenance and update programs

junglierating
Most stuff is Boeing lets face it ...Poseidon, wagtail (like wedge),C17,Apache,Chinook then there is LM ....Hercules ,Merlin (mission system) and em F35. We the people have let this happen I guess Wildcat is British....well sort of with American engines ...lights touchpaper and legs it. 🤔
Slater
Don't forget the new, super-secret fighter the USAF supposedly just tested. "Why bother with Tempest? We'll sell you a perfectly serviceable, world-beating aircraft. For a nominal fee, of course".
