Enzo the Magnificent
A classic Heller kit, if ever there was one. I built one of these back in the day and have always intended to build another. Now is the time. A nice simple kit in the usual Heller style with very fine raised panel lines. The kit was originally issued in 1978 but this is a later boxing from 1996. The decals seem to be holding up well. There are two marking schemes available, the wartime camouflage shown on the box-art and a pre-war overall silver scheme with the Grim Reaper on the fuselage sides. I haven't decided which to build yet.
fightersweep
This little beauty is a favourite of mine, and I'll be throwing one into the GB myself at some point. I just need some serviceable decals. Looking forward to following this one!
jean
Hi Enzo, a great little kit which I really like. Built it sometimes in the mid-nineties, and because I wanted it green on top, I had to paint by hand 2 new decals of the skeleton in white, along with the numeral 5!!! Now that was fun! Keep your sanity, do not do it! JR 1

Rabbit Leader
I’m hoping to see quite a few of these (& the D.500/01) built here.. yet another one of those kits that I had no intention ever to build, however have seemingly been lured in by some cursed French Modelling web. Locking forward to this one Enzo.. Cheers.. Dave 1

TonyW
A lovely little kit. It looks too delicate to be dangerous. The Grim Reaper markings must be a French in joke of some sort. 2
TonyOD
What a great looking plane. I love those French camo schemes but I feel that painting au baton poilu won't do them justice...
Wez
Another great choice Enzo and another subject in the Wez Heller hoard, a very petite and delicate kit, looking forward to this one coming together too! Welcome and good luck.

JOCKNEY
Great stuff Enzo This must be competing against the LeO 451 as the most popular kit in this GB. Good luck with this one. Cheers Pat
RidgeRunner
I’m really tempted by this machine, in Spanish marks ..... maybe Martin

Enzo the Magnificent
It's about time that I updated this thread. The cockpit was painted with the first blue grey paint that came to hand. The seat had some random Eduard harnesses added while the instrument panel was from Yahu, originally intended for the Airfix Tiger Moth. It does not take long to put this one together! Primed with my usually grey auto primer.

This was simply aluminium from an auto paint rattle can. Which gives it a nice sheen depending on how the light falls on it. And the decals were applied.
