Fazmodeller
The Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a grand tourer jointly developed by Mercedes-Benz and McLaren Automotive and sold from 2003 to 2010. The SLR has an AMG hand-built 5.4 Litre supercharged all-aluminium alloy engine. The SLR could attain a top speed of 334 km/h (208 mph). Tamiya produced a beautiful 1/24 scale kit with complete engine and opening doors that captured its classic design. Tamiya incorporated a diecast metal floorpan which to adds the the weight of the model. Paints used were Tamiya TS lacquers and enamels as well a Testors metallizers. Spiny
Nicely built version of this one. Black's always a brave choice and hard to pull off, but you've done a good job of it and in my opinion it's a colour which suits the car better than the almost-ubiquitous silver. That red interior sets it off well too.
