Lord Riot
Hi all, any Phantom experts out there who would know what colour I should paint the inside walls of the intakes on my 52nd TFW Wild Weasel please? It will be in Euro I colours, mid-80s. The Hasegawa instructions state they should be dark grey in one side and green inside the other, but this doesn't sound right to me, I think they would be white like the inside of RAF Phantom intakes and the inside of the undercarriage doors. Can't find any photos they're always too dark/in shadow. Thanks!
JayBee
I have an original T.O. of F-4F (paint requirements). The first part of the intake inside (30 inch) should be painted in fuselage camouflage color. The rest of the intake should be painted in white color. I think on U.S. F-4 they have done it the same way. 1

stevehnz
I was wondering why the starboard intake had the dark outer area but then started looking at the shadow & sun direction & concluded it was just shadow, the sun seems to be low & slightly starboard of head on to the F-4. Great photo. Steve.
