Resin hose joints and cable connectors

A question for the detail builders out there.

Currently I have some F1 builds coming up on the bench, mainly 1/20 and a couple of 1/12

I want to start to add extra detail with hoses and cables etc and the choice of sizes and types of aftermarket hose joints and cable connectors seems bewildering

Just wondering what are the most common sizes I should be looking at for both scales to get me started off with as I don't really want to get a load of joints and hose/cable I won't use

I usually use Hiroboy or spot model, so any recommendations would be welcome :)

Many thanks

I have often used this guy (Wim)...always very helpful and friendly...here is a link to his ebay shop.....https://www.ebay.co.uk/str/bestbalsakits

And his website.....https://www.bestbalsakits.com/tamiya/home.asp

This is another useful site.....https://prime-miniatures.co.uk/

Like many...Hiroboy is my main supplier.

In the main I would suggest 1.0 mm up to 1.6 mm for hose joints in metal...and would suggest the combined sets of resin one's from Hiroboy are the best value for money with the sizes they contain per set.

Your very welcome Ian...they are my go to suppliers for quality and service.

It's a shame that Hiroboy are very hit and miss with stock...but always worth a look.

Another thing to consider is a set of micro carbide drills (if you don't already have them)...and Ebay is my primary source for them,,,for example.....

Cheers
