Thanks - it does look okay in the end.

 

this morning I decided at the last second to add the weapons load.  The wing pylons are blu-tacked on so I can park it with swept wings on my shelf to save space. I assume they can do that but I haven't seen a pic to prove it - not that it matters with a model made from a kit like this. 

 

I know this load was probably never carried but it does look cool and I enjoyed building the kit as though it was new - that is, at a time when Tornado was the newest hottest thing in the sky and still contemplated in those pre-LGB days as a terrain following low level (relatively) heavy bomber, streaking in at 100 feet with eight bombs at some Warpac airfield or something.
