Corsairfoxfouruncle
Hello everyone Im looking for but not really having much success in finding any Royal navy participants in 1/700 scale. Does anyone make any of the vessels involved, as Id like to do something different for the group build in 2022. I really haven't found any in 1/350 even though id really be pushing skills, budget, and storage to the limit if I went that big.

Geoff_B
Dragon do or Did the Invincible and the Type 42 Batch 1 & Batch II ships, you can get a resin Bristol from MT Minatures which is OK, Orange Hobby do an excellent Resin & Etch Hermes in the Falklands fit. Atlantic models do/did the Type 22 Batch 1 Broadsword in resin & etch. Staring Modes are doing the Glamorgan, the Sea Wolf Leander and Rothesay class in Resin & Etch over the next 18 months. The awkward one s the Type 21, Pitroad did an accurate one in resin & etch, and Dragon did a Plastic kit but made a complete hash of it by copying the Airfix 1/600 Amazon kit and forgot to rescale the hull down to 1/700 so its too big and looks out of place. MT Minatures also do the other Leander variants but these feel to be scaled up from 1/1250 scale ready mades and thus are not as sharp and as detailed 1/700 kits. L'Arsenal do the Fearless in resin & Etch.
Francis Macnaughton
Best bet for a Type 21 is to use an Airfix 1/600 (preferrably an issue with the exocets) and the dedicated PE set from Atlantic models

If you can find one, the best is the Pit Road resin one as suggested by @Geoff_B
Mike McCabe
I will be releasing a 1/700 HMS Glamorgan under the Starling Models label, hopefully before the end of the year but most likely early next. www.starling-models.co.uk 1
