exdraken
Wow! What a fantastic scheme it is! First time I think I see it modelled! The Kuwaiti scheme is also smart by the way

dbay133
Very nice. Saw the real one a few years ago at Edinburgh.
JWM
Very nice indeed! A bit pity that there is so many much cheep old passenger machines (converted to cargo) on the market, that concept of civil variant of C-17 was abandoned after production of this one piece... SpeedyGonzales
Looks very good. The 1/72 one from Kinetic was a model I had been waiting for, unfortunately they seem to have dropped the project.

Give it a try. Mark I'd certainly like to build a C-17, but preferably in /172 scale. 1/144 is a bit too small for my shaky fingers. Would love a C-124 Globemaster II, also in 1/72 scale but doubt we'll see it in injection molded form.

I think there is a resin kit available (Anigrand perhaps?) but I believe it demands a lot from the builder's skills and persistence. If Kinetic were considering a mass-produced kit in 1/72 (as a contributor has suggested above), I'd be much desiring to get one. Anyway, @Mark Strasser, your build is very nice! A real break from the usual pale grey all-over schemes that most operators of the type use. 👍
Bell209
This is a great rendition of the real aircraft - I always thought it would make a great model! 18 hours ago, JWM said: that concept of civil variant of C-17 was abandoned after production of this one piece... I helped load the Emir's S-92 into this a few years back. It looked identical to a military C-17A to me - it's even crewed by a hybrid USAF/Qatari Air Force crew.

Billy54
Very, very impressive. Can I ask were they the kit decals or after market and where did you get the stand? Thanks, Billy

The stand is a folding picture frame stand and I added a clear front stake. Just thinking out off the box. Mark
