BlueNosers352nd
Here is my Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Mk Ib Tear Drop Canopy build. This was a in-betweener. Something to work on in-between the main builds. Really didn't weather this one up too much and the photo I've seen of her is rather clean. The details... Ultracast Wheels Ultracast Exhaust Ultracast Intake Quickboost Seat Quickboost Gun Barrels Bits and pieces of Aires Cockpit kit bashed into the kit cockpit (I liked the separate structure of the kit) Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr Hasegawa 1/48 Hawker Typhoon Ib by Jim Fox, on Flickr 38

Richard Cawsey
Very nice. The amount of weathering looks just about spot-on. . .

Mark Joyce
Great looking Typhoon, Jim. I like the weathering you did on it. I don't think you overdid it by any means. Cheers, Mark
SAT69
Beautiful build. The subtle weathering gives the appearance of an airplane rather newly arrived at the squadron from the production line.

As MN518 was the mount of Wing Commander R T P Davidson I'd expect it to be a little bit more pristine than the average squadron aeroplane.
PhantomLover
Very nice, with a very clean and crisp paitjob! Did you use blue tack for the camo-pattern?

Did you use blue tack for the camo-pattern? Essentially............I used Uhu tack. Had some old blue poster tack, but it was at least 10 yrs old. Seen several references to Uhu so I gave it a whirl. 1 hour ago, stever219 said: As MN518 was the mount of Wing Commander R T P Davidson I'd expect it to be a little bit more pristine than the average squadron aeroplane. Judging by the only picture I found, that was my conclusion too. Not Davidson in this pic.
