These will be probably the better kits than the RS Model ones.

Of course they will be, now that I have an Azure MB.155 & RS MB.152, the last liberated from a Covid stricken Czech Republic, of course they've now announced these. :( :D

Steve.

Let me calm you down a bit. MB.155 is not being developed yet. Work is underway only on 151/152. 😀

  • Homebee changed the title to 1/72 - Bloch MB.151/152/155 by Dora Wings - 3D renders+sprues

OMG, what is the reason for this parts breakdown?

Look at the joint on the wing undersurface. Why couldn't you follow the real line, but had to invent new one,

requiring a tidy seam filling at impossible place?

Also the engine nacelle breakdown with seams between cylinder heads caps is awkward.

Given the provided information, I don't see any need to replace very good RS Bloch with this one.

3D model probably made by a computer geek not a modeller... same dubious line under their otherwise great Bf-109A/B/C/D made earlier.

I guess i could understand why , because they wanted to keep a sharp trailing edge, but why not go on the real panel lines, instead of creating new ones that need a lot of work to hide, and in the process, half of the details in the area will be lost...

IMHO, it is easier to address a seam not running in the place of a panel line, simply because it is easier to later re-scribe the panel in plastic than in putty.

Having the seam run across existing panels (instead in their direction and position) reduces the putty areas that go under the blade (Zvezda did a similar thing on their Yak-3 wing-to-fuselage joint).
