Fazmodeller
The Aston martin DBR9 debuted in sports car racing in 2005 and achieved success at Sebring with a win in the LMGT1 category and a third place in that category at Le Mans that year. The model here is the Le Mans entry as depicted in the 1/24 scale Model Factory Hiro multimedia (resin, metal and photoetch) kit. As with all Model Factory Hiro kits the design and detail are well executed but trial fitting is imperative and a little fettling is required. The kit builds up into a great replica, particularly highlighted by the Aston Martin green metallic paintwork and extensive carbon fibre decalling finish. Hope you enjoy. Kitkent
You can’t beat a Le Mans Aston Martin, this one looks absolutely perfect I think. I saw these race at Silverstone and Le Mans that year,a lovely model. Chris

FunkyChiken
Imo is in the top 10 for most beautiful modern cars, and your GT racer is a beautiful build. I don't have the skills to attempt one of these MFH kits, but when, I see the quality of the finishes like on this thread, I get awfully tempted... RabRoberts
That's just stunning, beautiful car, beautifully built model. The detail level in the cockpit is tempting me away from my usual 1/43 models. Rab
kapam
Stunning work! You really nailed it. A very beautiful car (whether in race trim or road-going config.). Would love to build a MFH kit but the asking price is a bit steep for me.
