Luka
Actually I don't have many Battle of Britain -era builds, but here's the Airfix Hurricane I thought I'd share on this special day. Spitfire31
Excellent Hurricane! The finish looks exactly 'right'. I'm suspicious about the IFF aerial, though. They generally didn't coincide with the HF radio aerial. http://spitfiresite.com/2010/04/spitfire-masts-and-aerials.html/2 Of course, this 'gospel of antennas and aerials' page is about the Spitfire, but I'd suspect that the same general principles apply to BoB Hurricanes. Lovely model! Kind regards, Joachim

TonyOD
Beautiful job. I don't have much to offer here, when i first started building models around 11-12 years ago I just built Spitfires, here's on I did (one of my very first IIRR), 19 Squadron Mk. IIa flown by Sqn. Ldr. Brian "Sandy" Lane. Model lost long ago (it wasn't anything to get excited about!), but this pic survives.

Lovely model! Kind regards, Joachim Thanks! The IFF wires are present on KW-Z / L1592, which is more or less in its original state at the London Science Museum. It also sports the early 'broomstick' aerial mast. http://data3.primeportal.net/hangar/mark_hayward/hurricane_mk1_l1592/images/hurricane_mk1_l1592_22_of_26.jpg Cheers, Luka
