Planebuilder62
Hi there I have used Alclad for a few years but not the high shine types. Would you get the same shinyness spraying Polished Aluminium over dark ble gloss primer? Gloss black seems to the only undercoat used that I have heard about? I have a plan to build a model of Chuck Yeagers NF-104 that was very shiny but with variations in the panels. regards Toby
Schwarz-Brot
I only know their chrome, but I do know that the underground matters very much. You can spray it over any high shine surface and get a chrome effect, the underlying colour will effect the outcome in a subtle way. Don't see why this wouldn't work with aluminium. But I highly recommend doing some test pieces first!
