72modeler Posted September 12, 2020 Share Posted September 12, 2020 While discussing sand ingestion by desert-based Hurricanes with a modeling buddy, I came across these photos of the two types of dust filters fitted to Mk 1b Tiffies. Guessing the Normandy-based aircraft had them fitted, including 2nd TAF Typhoons? Hope you haven't seen these photos before. IIRC, there are aftermarket cuckoo door filters in 1/72 and 1/48 scales.
