1/4 scale TAG Williams

Recommended Posts

  • 2 weeks later...

The rear end is pretty much sorted now and it's fitted to the body.
Dashboard and seat in place...

Front suspension and wheels next and then it will be the front and rear wings...

I've added a pic of me holding the body to give an idea of the size.

Thanks for looking in chaps.

On the home stretch now with this monster.
The front arms, uprights, hubs, brakes and wheels all sorted. Some smaller parts still to add as well as the rear wing and front wing end plates.

With the rear wing on it will be a smidge over 48" long. Around 1220mm...

A wee bit bigger that the average Tamiya.

How did I miss this? Its huge :) looking fantastic Roy, glad to see you at it again, is there any more full scratch building on the horizon? Maybe a 1/8 E1A or XJ13? 😈

Andy.

Thanks Andy.

The XJ13 is always on my 'to do' list but at the moment I'm up to my ears on commission builds for F1 cars.
Soon will be another 1/4 scale of Mansell's Williams...

Nice to see you are still busy at it Roy. I have just started building the Citroen 15 Traction Avant by Heller that I purchased years back, along with your DVD of course. Also about halfway through the Pocher Alfa Romeo. Been busy of late moving home, but we are finally settled where we have always wanted to be, in South Norfolk.                                       So, when are you going to build a 1/1 scale?
