One 48
For reasonable accuracy and build-ability without too many vices :) My first thought was the Hasegawa one, very expensive and perhaps hard to find in UK?, but seems there 2 or 3 different kit factory versions ... Italeri and Academy I think? Seem to remember the Hasegawa one (I think it was) has over scale raised panel parts that need sanded or toned down? I wonder? Feedback appreciated, thanks. exdraken
Hasegawa shape wise, Academy has better represented detail according to most. Skip the old Italeri/Revell versions if you want something good!
One 48
Thanks exdragon, probably go for the Academy one but will keep a look out for somone selling a second hand Hasegawa one, cant see any on Ebay from UK retailers, quite a few from Japan at 1/32 scale prices :)
bar side
I do find it surprising that neither Airfix or Revell have jumped in on the 1/48 F-22 or F-35 production models. Not including the X-35 Revell offering which I am not sure I have ever seen
