I also noticed that I forgot the crow bar Cheers for looking in chaps Dan

Dads203
Cheers Chaps. Very frustrated indeed I had to replace the air valve packing seal on the Iwata TR-1 that I use. So ordered a new one - £8.99 The old one started to stick so I thought after 12 years best replace it along with the piston. This turned up today !??!! Completely empty. Sent Recorded next day ? Still sealed, slightly crushed but very much intact - absolutely nothing in the packaging. WTF ! 1

beefy66
Great details as usual Dan that shovel looks like a lot like al a Longshanks lately not the man just the technique I mean.😉 Looks like some one has been practicing their magic tricks with that package now you see it now you don’t hope you get it sorted soon. 🤔 Stay Safe beefy 1
Jasper dog
Frustrating is one word for it..... You'd think whoever packed it might have spotted, or in this case not spotted, something! Sure it'll resolve itself with a call. Tools are looking, well, like you've painted them, brilliant!

Dads203
Cheers chaps, Email sent about my expensive packaging issue Lets see what they say. So a bit more done tonight, more painting on the running gear. Just waiting now to get the lower hull in a satin coat on ready for decals and weathering up. I coated the hull in some places with some Tamiya gun metal lacquer paints, mainly around the high traffic areas. Added some chipping fluid and then the top layers of OD. Just had a chipping up session to see how it turned out. Turret roof underside gets some paint Enjoy Dan

Jasper dog
Nice Dan, interesting...the chipping fluid has paid off. First time I ever tried the stuff i put the top coat on and gave it a good 36/48hrs to dry..... really didn't want to come off...how i laughed... Anyway, great work. Dads203
Cheers chaps, Glossed and decals added, completely screwed up the front Reg Number though Oh well, I'll see if i can cobble together one from other sheets that I have. Once this stage is dry then another blast of gloss and then its's onto weather up the hull. Cheers for taking the time to check in chaps.

Bullbasket
Decals have gone on well Dan. Glad to see that you did the emergency engine stops. They're often overlooked. John.

Jasper dog
Really looking the part now Dan, Tamiya decals gone down really well, some people can be critical of them but the I've never had a problem with them. I assume when John refers to the engine stops he's referring to the red buttons by the filler caps? Learn something everyday.. Great work, as if we'd expect anything less! 1

Dads203
Cheers guys With a bit of a brown wash done. Some subtle shadows around the turret ring and the drivers hatches, the rear deck louvres have just started to pop now. Mig Ammo brown wash for dark yellow German vehicles used with mineral thinners. Chuffed that the kit supplied decals have settled down well with no slivering. Enjoy Dan
