Re the Fire extingishers, i asked the same question. Das Abteilung replied with the below:

WW2 US and British ones were generally the tank colour of the day: OD for US and KG3/SCC2/SCC15  for UK.  Except for the early war British Pyrene type which were bare brass more often than not.  White stencilled markings on a black background.  US extinguishers on UK Lend-Lease vehicles might or might not have been repainted.

German, as noted, Panzergrau or Dunkelgelb.  Russian, no idea but most likely 4BO.

Post-war British extinguishers remain green to this day, initially Deep Bronze Green now a sort of NATO green.  In the days of shiny post-war tanks I believe the US used red b ut n ow uses the current OD.

Looking good ....like the metalizing on the hand wheels and the chipping and wear on the interior.....starting to come together now ...curious what markings you are doing for the exterior. :goodjob:

Cheers for the feedback guys, all appreciated

The kit decals are fine, you get the normal mix of stars and couple of Vehicle reg numbers but I wanted to add a bit

more so the shipping stencils look to be another little add on. As for the interior I'll be adding a few little bits to break it all up

a bit more. I have some Verlinden stencils somewhere which I think should be okay to use.

The other turret side coming along.

Not sure yet on the markings for this one, I do have some Archer D-Day shipping stencils so I would presume they might be okay. They are for Sherman tanks though.

well you obviously can’t use those because we will all notice they are wrong!🤔😂

Just spent an hour or two painting up the gun cleaning rods.

Also painted up the exhaust, black and hull red, its had some chipping fluid added so a nice base of OD next.

It forms part of my weathering plan, if it works then happy days :frantic:

It's always the smaller items that take the longest to build/paint. But they turned out really good, even it they are hiding away now.

Cheers Guys,

Slowely plodding along at a snails pace, a bit more work done over the last few days.

Concentrating on the exhaust, I have used several layers of chipping fluid and multiple

colours with this part. It looks okay but I think it needs more rust.

And lets get bombed up, ammo time.  Tamiya Gloss black lacquer base with Mig Ammo brass.
