1/48 ICM A-26B-50 Invader “Brown Nose”

Here are the pictures of my 1/48 ICM A-26B-50 Invader with the markings of “Brown Nose” during Korean War.

Cockpit modified by Eduard instrument panel and seat belts.
Wheels are from Eduard Brasin set.
Paints : Gunze Sangyo acrylics
Decals : Aeromaster #48615

Do you know how this kit compares to the old Monogram A-26?

That s a really great kit. Fitting is very succesfull. Plastic material is soft. It s good for sanding etc but it causes problem on landing gear legs. Using after market metal legs will be a good idea.

For my opinion most tricky part of the old monogram is installation area of horizontal tails to the fuselage .

ICM gives cowl flaps as seperates parts. They are not so thick. I have used them as they are. But I recommend to glue them to cowling before final installation to the wing.
