Anatol Pigwa
The F/A-18 didn't have a STGB since 2013 (thanks theplasticsuergeon). Given the importance of the jet, as well as it's diversified users, from Finland to Australia i believe this machine does deserve a STGB on it's own. The would be spanning the original bug as well as the superbug. Apart from the current I would also love to see what-when's of prospective users (i am thinking of the superbugs Germany is about to get). Those who thinks likewise: 01. Marcin Kaminski (Host) 02. theplasticsurgeon
Yes, Great suggestion! The last one was 2013 where I built this Prototype. And with two Italeri FA-18s in the stash, and Superscale decals. Can't promise to build both, but count me in please.

Jb65rams
I would be up for this. Have a Revell 1/48 F/A-18F in the stash that needs building.
klr
Definitely count me in. As it so happens, I've been building up my F/A-18 stash this year, both of "legacy" and "Super Hornet" versions. I still need the EA-18G "Growler", which I plan to get soon. Actually, I already have the Revell 1/144 scale kit, which is nice, but it's not the One True Scale.
vppelt68
I'm in. I'll build one to give to my son. He used to arm 1:1 MLU2 Hornets during his national service. V-P

Corsairfoxfouruncle
The last one I did was a 1/48 Revell Superbug in VFA-192 Golden Dragons USN Centennial Korean war Scheme. So maybe this time do a Legacy Hornet in USN 75th anniversary scheme of the WW2 four tone camouflage. That or possibly an aggressor or a Growler ? vppelt68
This autumn marks the 25th anniversary of Hornets in Finnish AF service, btw. They recently decorated a Hawk tail for their 40 years in service; I'll keep my fingers crossed for a HN special to come too!

Who knows by the time this gets its turn (and it will), I may just do a USN/USMC jet.

Though Id love to find a photo of one in Golden wings livery like the T-45 Goshawk in this link. https://photorecon.net/centennial-of-naval-aviation-aircraft-bureau-numbers/ Dennis

LorenSharp
Count me in, last one I did some time back was a Australian F/A-18 in 20th Anniversary livery. I'm ready for Growler.
trickyrich
Gosh I had forgotten about this aircraft myself. I'm not a fan of the earlier models, but do like the Superbug......which reminds me I must finish mine! But a Growler maybe of interest to me!! My son actually wants to be a WSO in one of these, will be applying to transfer to the airforce soon. Guess you'd better sign me up!
