Mirage III colour

Managed to pick up an Eduard Profipack Mirage III at a reasonable price - it's a beauty, I know because I built one a few years back.  Anyway, that one was over all NMF but this time I want to finish it with the "blue-grey" upper surface scheme.  can anyone advise the best colour here?  Humbrol or Extracolour?

Isn't this the same shade as on the Mirage F.1? If so, Xtracolor makes this shade as X377.

Vallejo "French Mirage Blue", 70.900, FS35164 is to all intents equal to USN WW2 Intermediate Blue in other paint ranges

Many years ago I took a small flake of paint from a blue/grey Mirage IIIC based at Creil.  When I examined it at home I was surprised at how dark the colour appeared.  Scale effect - I suppose.  The chip is identical to the PRU Blue No. 636 in my copy of British Standard 381C : 1964.

Try that on an F-35 and see what happens!

I dunno, give you lot an inch and you knick anything that's not nailed down in the cabin (not for want of trying...)! 🚓
