Original RAF WWII Rations opened and explained

I thought the link below would be of interest to many of you. This gentleman has managed to purchase (at great expense) some original RAF WWII rations and he opens them up to see how the look after many decades. He also gives a thorough historical overview. He also has other ration reviews - some aviation related - from many different countries.

I saw a couple of videos similar to  that. I find them very interesting. Thanks for the link. Some of these  old rations are really quite edible although I  suspect servicemen at the time might  have  disagreed.

When I was in we used to get WW2 tins of rations with us on exercises. No labels on the tins, just a stock code number. It was all very edible and almost quite fun opening a tin to find you had condensed milk to go with your beans, or peaches for your beef stew
