Recommended Posts

Hi Guys.... Hope everyone is doing well, and staying safe.

Here for your inspection is.....

"Between Hammer and Anvil." A Tiger Ausf. E of Schwere Panzer Abteilung 505, a Kursk survivor, in the vicinity of Smolensk, Autumn 1943.

The title comes from the situation, the hammer of Kursk ,and the onset of Winter and the Russian offensive operations of 1944.

The vehicle depicts a Tiger of the Kompanie Stab, battle damaged, and showing the scars of battle.

Hope Y'all enjoy....

Lee.

Superb. The colours look just right. Which kit is it?

It would look even better against a plain background..

Hi, Ian. This is the Tamiya kit, basically from the box, with just a few minor add on bits.

Im still working on my photo skills lol

Hello, I'd forgotten about this, goldfish has now't on me when it comes to memory!

Not only a really good Tiger but a great figure too!

Keep spotting more great touches like the exhausts and the repair patch on the side of the hull.

(That's a really clean pick-up bed to btw, cleaner than the outside of mine!)

Looks great Longbow. Like the missing road wheel, the beat up mufflers, tow cables, bashed up fenders and the shot

impacts look real too. Great job, lovely paint and just right weathering. I'll give it an "A+"

Lloyd
