Robert Stuart
Pat, Good to see you making armour Back when I made Airfix 1/72 tanks, I used to staple the track ends together before easing onto the wheels & sprokets - IIRC, two staples per side would do the job on most types.
JOCKNEY
Well despite wrestling with the tracks, I've made a bit of progress I'm not sure why I bothered about the inside, it's not like you are ever going to see it, however... Next a trial fit, turret and top and bottom. Well from this angle it looks ok, to avoid nightmares for people of a nervous disposition I'll try to get it to fit better before I take any more pictures ! CliffB
Looking good Pat (particularly bearing in mind the size of modelling tools that you seem to be using ). Cheers

AdrianMF
The turret interior looks great, never seen one before in 1/72 or 76 scale. Nearly there - don't forget to stick the wings on! Regards, Adrian
JOCKNEY
Some progress, about blooming time they say ! Ive left the hand tools off till I've painted it, also a bit of filling required where my incompetence led to poor panel fitting. Finally tracks on..... I could go on holiday with the money that would have been put in a swear box doing the tracks and wheels ! Its painting time ! JOCKNEY
Paint on, figure still needs some attention, then fit the tools Just noticed in the above picture a bit of tidying up required. I hope I haven't offended any of our armour modellers Cheers Pat

I would use a stapler and hide it behind the sand shields. Good job so far. Davey. Mmmm.... obviously my phone didn't catch up with the rest of your posts! Excellent job! jean
Hi Pat, sorry I missed your completion of this build! Even without the wings it does look good! Congratulations!!! I have a small query. I have no idea how big a Mathilda is. Is it a really small tank, or is your tank commander a Viking on steroids? I thought vertically challenged people went to serve into armor. I really like it!
