RMCS
I was asked to build this by Airfix Model World for this Octobers issue. A subject I wouldn't have chosen, but one I came to love and enjoy researching and building with the challenge of fixing a prototype plug and play system by Magic Scale Modelling. I'm happy with how it went and I hope you enjoy looking at it too. I won't spoil the article about the build... suffice to say it was very interesting to put together! Bravo to ICM for a cracking kit and Magic Scale Modelling for thier technology. 65

harry
Lovely job, just an observation but aren't the props spinning in the wrong direction?

Spitfire31
Lovely build, very convincing! Suprb modelling, including the props spinning clockwise (viewed from the cockpit) just like they should.😆 Kind regards, Joachim

cmatthewbacon
It is indeed beautifully built and weathered. My only nit pick (and I've thought this about every model I've seen that uses lights and engine sound effects) is that I think it needs some crew figures. I doubt a real one can be started up without someone in the cockpit! best, M.
Whofan
In one of those wierd coincidences I was reading your build article in AMW while I started the PC up, A very nice model indeed, but my word, that periscope sighting for the turrets must have been awkward to use in real life! Nice to see the magic scale gubbins in action, too!
